Hunting for seatrout in Kragerø
Last weekend a friend of mine invited me to his cabin outside the city of Kragerø. The weather was warm (perhaps even a bit too hot for my liking), but the seatrout was plentifull nonetheless. Another sign from the warm weather and water temperature, was the garfish swarms. They have invaded our coast now for sure, and the mackerel is sure to follow soon. Sometimes we could spot the seatrout chasing our flies, only to have them snatched away by the garfish. Here are some of the photos from the trip. I will be back for sure in the fall, in the hope of finding bigger seatrout and exploring the other islands there. Shoutout to Gisle for an amazing weekend!
